Lydia White

With over a decade of formal dance training and live performance experience, Lydia brings a unique perspective to her physiotherapy practice particularly when working with dancers and performing artists.

Her extensive background spans Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Commercial Jazz, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics, initially training locally in Hervey Bay at The League Studios, Hervey, Bay Dance School and Little Tutu Dancers.


Lydia holds high-level classical qualifications through both the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Australian Dance Vision (ADV), including

Honours with Distinction in Major levels one and two. She was selected to attend the prestigious Queensland Ballet Summer School in 2017, and has obtained her Certificate II (Majoring Jazz), III (Majoring Ballet) and IV in Dance (Majoring Ballet & Jazz). She also holds experience with

assistant teaching through her involvement at The League Studios, and is passionate about building strong technical foundations to promote longevity and versatility in young performers. After successfully auditioning, Lydia undertook 12 months of full-time elite dance training in

2020 at LAUNCH Performing Arts Centre on the Gold Coast, where she refined her technical and performance skills under the mentorship of leading industry professionals. Her strong interest in high-level performance, sport, and health ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in

physiotherapy.


 Lydia has further expanded her expertise by obtaining her Pilates accreditation through Studio Pilates. She is qualified to deliver both matwork and reformer conditioning, allowing her to incorporate evidence-based, movement-focused rehabilitation into her clinical care.

Combining her clinical expertise in physiotherapy with firsthand experience of the physical and artistic demands of dance, Lydia is particularly passionate about helping dancers prevent injury, enhance performance, and rehabilitate with informed, empathetic, and evidence-based care.
